Social Care Advisory Council
Our Social Care Advisory Council was formed in 2023 to drive positive change in Michigan. Members of the council directly shape MSHIELD's work to promote health equity through the integration of social and clinical care. Advisory Council members can:
Make a difference. Input and guidance from the council will directly influence our organization's strategies and decision-making processes.
Network and share stories. The council is designed to foster connections among individuals who share a passion for health equity, anti-racism, community-clinical partnerships, fostering meaningful relationships, and cross-sector collaborations.
Learn and grow. Members can share their experiences with social care and expand their knowledge of addressing social determinants of health by working alongside other content experts and thought leaders.
Impact change: Members play a vital role in driving positive change in Michigan’s social care landscape, contributing to the promotion of health equity.
