Selena is responsible for the data management and data analysis for MSHIELD. She has experience working with national and state-based surveys, electronic health records, claims data, and social needs screening data. Selena has a profound commitment to health equity initiatives and ensuring that our research practices reflect these values. She is continually engaging in anti-racism learning and translating that knowledge to the practice of health analytics.

Selena holds a Master of Science in Psychology and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Data Science from the University of Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, long distance running, trying new foods, and being outdoors.
